Hells Ride – Hard Enduro on Proven Ground

The Hells Ride is not just another race on the calendar. It is a standalone hard enduro event built on the successful structure of last year’s ÖEC Oberhof round, taking place at the same challenging location in Oberhof im Metnitztal, Austria.

The terrain offers everything modern hard enduro stands for: steep hill climbs, technical forest sections, loose rocks and natural obstacles that demand precision, endurance and smart line choices.

A Race Format That Rewards Strategy

Unlike traditional time-based formats, Hells Ride uses a points-based system:

  • Riders complete a demanding base lap.

  • Optional “Outlier” sections offer additional points.

  • Each rider decides how much risk to take.

  • The winner is the rider with the highest total score.

This format combines physical strength with tactical decision-making, making the race exciting for professionals and ambitious amateurs alike.

Even the Best Had to Push

The level of difficulty became clear when even hard enduro legend Graham Jarvis had to put in serious effort to clean all sections. That alone shows the technical standard of the event.

Hells Ride is not about pure speed — it is about control, consistency and smart racing.

DOWATEK – Event Partner and Driving Force

DOWATEK is official event partner and actively involved in the organization. From race concept and class structure to technical implementation, we bring our racing experience directly into the event.

A major step forward was the introduction of a dedicated electric class, strongly supported by DOWATEK. This category is perfectly suited for modern electric race bikes like the Stark VARG, combining instant torque, precise throttle control and competitive performance in extreme terrain.

Hard Enduro with Vision

Hells Ride stands for challenging sections, fair competition and forward-thinking innovation. It connects proven hard enduro traditions with modern race concepts — and sets a benchmark for future events.
