The second race weekend of the DOWATEK HardEnduroSeries Germany in
Crimmitschau is behind us. Once again, with "HESG weather" featuring bright
sunshine and temperatures above 20 degrees, all participants and fans had a great
time.
The DOWATEK HardEnduroSeries Germany continues at full speed. Two weeks after
the season opener in Reetz, around 200 participants are expected at the event hosted
by HET Reinsdorf.
After the winter break, the DOWATEK HardEnduroSeries caravan headed to Reetz.
For the first time, the season opener took place on the track in Brandenburg. After
being added to the calendar for the first time in 2020, this marks the fifth appearance
in Reetz. In the best weather conditions, in addition to the many participants, nearly
140, a large number of spectators also gathered at the track at Mühlenberg. They
experienced exciting races and could look forward to a strong field of riders, which
even featured some last-minute top riders signing up for the season opener.
The long winter break of the DOWATEK HardEnduroSeries Germany ends on
Saturday in Reetz. The signs once again point to an exciting season, as everything is
open again for both the daily victories and the championship decision. Until then, on
October 5, 2024, in Schwepnitz, a total of 7 races will be held this season
Since the 2022 season, DOWATEK has been the title partner of the series, and in
2024, the partnership with DOWATEK will continue. The series organization is
pleased to announce that the renowned brand, which distributes off-road accessories
and enjoys the trust of many riders in the hard enduro sector, will continue to be
present as the title sponsor in the series. This ensures that the memorable name,
already familiar to all riders and fans from the previous season, remains firmly
embedded in the series designation. This ongoing collaboration underscores the
commitment of both parties to hard enduro sports and promises an exciting and
action-packed 2024 season of the DOWATEK HardEnduroSeries Germany.
Traditionally, on January 1st at 12 o'clock, registration for the DOWATEK
HardEnduroSeries Germany began. Once again, over 100 riders have already signed
up, marking a very promising start. Alongside many familiar participants of the
HESG, there are also some interesting newcomers and returning competitors to the
series. One of them is Florian Geisenhofer; the Rettenberg native was a fast junior
rider several years ago, then transitioned to the German Enduro Cup. For the 2024
season, he is making a comeback to the series, aiming to challenge for the top spot in
his final year as a junior.
Before heading into well-deserved Christmas rest, the organizers of the DOWATEK
HardEnduroSeries Germany are in preparations for the 2024 season. There are also
innovations for the upcoming season that are significant for both riders and fans. All
essential information is compactly summarized in this announcement.
Even though the scheduling situation for the 2024 season remains challenging, the
HESG organization, in collaboration with the clubs, has established two additional
dates. The most crucial date of the year is the season opener, scheduled for April 13,
2024, in Reetz for the upcoming season. This time, the northernmost track in the
calendar takes the lead in what will hopefully be another exciting season. Reetz is
strategically located between highways 2 and 9, making it easily accessible for the
season opener. The MSC Burg Eisenhardt has consistently surprised participants
with innovations each year, and this is expected to continue in 2024.
A long season of the DOWATEK HardEnduroSeries Germany came to an end in
Rüdersdorf. This happened with an especially challenging race for the riders of the
toughest Enduro series in Germany. The MC Woltersdorf had decided to try
something new after Enduro World Championship, European Championship, and
German Championship races. In the aftermath of the event, there was only positive
feedback. The series organization, led by Denis Günther, was completely satisfied
with the event: 'Thanks to MC Woltersdorf for the spectacular season finale. Despite
the muddy conditions, we could hardly have imagined it any better. An incredibly
large number of spectators and a demanding track definitely provided a worthy
finale.“
Since the season opener on April 1st and the final, which will take place in Rüdersdorf
on Saturday, 210 eventful days have passed. These days have characterized an exciting
season of the DOWATEK HardEnduroSeries Germany, keeping both drivers and fans
on the edge of their seats.
Only one race remains on the calendar of the DOWATEK HardEnduroSeries
Germany 2023. This will be a special highlight for everyone. For the first time, the
HESG community will travel to Rüdersdorf on the outskirts of Berlin. On the
traditional terrain at Kesselsee, MC Woltersdorf will once again provide riders with
everything that makes the Hardenduro heart beat faster. In recent times, even the
Enduro World Championship pilots have tackled the terrain with enthusiasm,
appreciating the numerous challenging ascents it offers.
Only 25 days left until the start of GetzenRace at the 24MX GetzenRodeo 2023 on
November 4th, 2023, at 10:00 AM. At that time, the Getzenwald in Grießbacher Flur
will once again be populated by fans from all over the world. The term 'from all over
the world' fits perfectly, as we already have viewer inquiries from New Zealand.
