Traditionally, on January 1st at 12 o'clock, registration for the DOWATEK
HardEnduroSeries Germany began. Once again, over 100 riders have already signed
up, marking a very promising start. Alongside many familiar participants of the
HESG, there are also some interesting newcomers and returning competitors to the
series. One of them is Florian Geisenhofer; the Rettenberg native was a fast junior
rider several years ago, then transitioned to the German Enduro Cup. For the 2024
season, he is making a comeback to the series, aiming to challenge for the top spot in
his final year as a junior.
Even though the scheduling situation for the 2024 season remains challenging, the
HESG organization, in collaboration with the clubs, has established two additional
dates. The most crucial date of the year is the season opener, scheduled for April 13,
2024, in Reetz for the upcoming season. This time, the northernmost track in the
calendar takes the lead in what will hopefully be another exciting season. Reetz is
strategically located between highways 2 and 9, making it easily accessible for the
season opener. The MSC Burg Eisenhardt has consistently surprised participants
with innovations each year, and this is expected to continue in 2024.
A dream race day lies behind the DOWATEK HardEnduroSeries Germany 2023. The
series returned to Schwepnitz after a one-year hiatus in front of a gigantic audience.
Despite less favorable forecasts, ideal racing weather prevailed at the
Motorsportanlage Altes Tanklager in Schwepnitz. The Quadpoint Schwepnitz also did
an excellent job to entertain both fans and riders optimally.
The DOWATEK HardEnduroSeries Germany is currently in its summer break. From
the end of September, however, 3 more races will follow, heralding the final stage of
the season. There will be some exciting innovations in all 3 races.
"With a lot of motivation from the previous year, the MSC Gefrees-Fichtelgebirge had
already plunged into preparations for this year shortly after the 2022 Granit
Scramble.
Even though the current weather conditions in Germany are not optimal, the
preparation for the season highlight of the DOWATEK HardEnduroSeries Germany
in Gefrees is going according to plan.
The DOWATEK HardEnduroSeries Germany 2023 is experiencing extremely
changeable weather this season. The fully booked race in the "Hexenkessel"
Reisersberg once again lived up to its name. With temperatures around 34 degrees,
no one should have felt cold. The MCC Reisersberg has created an extremely
challenging track that includes several new difficult sections. Everything possible in
off-road terrain has been incorporated, leading to countless beads of sweat for all
participants. The HESG family is delighted to welcome back Leon Hentschel, who has
finally returned after over a year following an injury.
Nine long weeks of break are behind the participants of the series. Now, finally, it
continues with two guest performances in Bavaria. The race in Reisersberg on
Saturday, July 15, will kick off, followed by Gefrees in early August (August 5).
This weekend marks the start of the third round of the DOWATEK HardEnduroSeries
Germany in Reetz. It is the last race of the series before the spring break. After three
challenging races, the pilots have certainly earned a bit of a break before the next race
in Reisersberg on July 15, 2023.
